A two-day long training on Policy Advocacy and Human Rights for Transgender members has been conducted on 30 Sep – 01 Oct 2023 at Dhaka. The training was organized by Bandhu Social welfare society under the project named “Building Access to Justice and Legal Support for Gender Diverse Population of Bangladesh” with the support of The United Nations Democracy Fund – UNDEF. A total number of 20 participants attended the training. A national-level trainer facilitate the training session. The training focuses on human rights, networking, fundamental rights and humanitarian principles. These are pivotal to increase the awareness of rights at the community level. It’s mentionable that total eighty transgender members will be included the training and till to date 60 members already received.
